eCall is an electronic safety system that automatically calls emergency services (112) in the case of a serious car accident. Even if you are unconscious, the system will inform rescue workers of the crash site's exact location, and the ambulance will be on its way within minutes. eCall can also be activated manually. This is a map of signatories of the European Memorandum of Understanding for Realisation of Interoperable In-Vehicle eCall (MoU). The purpose the MoU is to secure the realisation of an interoperable in-vehicle emergency call service (eCall) supplied, introduced and operated across Europe.
